Ralph E Nichols

Ralph E Nichols, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026 in Delta, Utah. He was born on August 17, 1941 at the family home in Oasis, Utah to David E and Rose Stewart Nichols.
Ralph graduated from Delta High School and after a short stint in college he settled down to farming and raising sheep. He met and married Margaret Ann Jenkins in 1963 and they started their family of three boys. He considered farming as his major life’s occupation but also worked for local farmers, at Brooklyn Creamery, at Oasis Seed Plant, Hatch’s Café and as a propane distributer.He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock hounding with his boys, but when his grandchildren came along, the same activities with them made life even more enjoyable. They will miss the fun times with Grandpa and life for the rest of us will be different without him.
He is survived by his wife: Margaret; Sons: Brian (Cindy); Bill; Matt (Shandy); 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Brother: Voy Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Lola Nichols Brush, Blanch Nichols Bond, Pearl Nichols Wilkins, Newell Nichols, Carol Nichols Clements, Gloria Stewart Martin, and Elaine Stewart Couch.
