Mardelayne Miller

Mardelayne Miller, age 78, sadly passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was born on August 12, 1947 in Murray, Utah to John Alden and Jeanne Broadbendt Miller. She moved with her family to Glendora, California in 1952, sharing adventures and the majority of her time with her two brothers, whom she loved dearly.

Mardelayne is survived by her 3 children: Jay, Karen and Lori; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Mardelayne’s close friends and family knew her as “Mardy”. She enjoyed taking dance lessons from ballet to line dancing and later in life pursued a career as an instructional aide for Allison Elementary. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many callings in the church and sharing that faith with anyone within arms reach. She gave her heart freely, believed the good in people, and never allowed the harsh world to change her childlike ways. She adored her ginger cat, Hogarth, watching her favorite shows, and listening to music. She was quirky, funny, and could light up a room. She would talk to everyone and anyone who would listen, making the most mundane tasks an outing. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and church.
