Jared Paul Rogers, age 43, passed away on May 26, 2026 in Oak City, Utah. He was born on May 3, 1983, in Delta, Utah, to Brent David and Ann Pace Rogers. Jared loved spending his childhood in Oak City riding his motorcycle and 3-wheeler, “The Big Dawg,” around town with his friends. Jared graduated from Delta High School in 2001 and later faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Mexico, Mexico City West Mission. After his mission, he attended Utah Valley University (UVU) and later earned a degree from Bismarck State College. He worked at Intermountain Power Plant (IPP), where he was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and sense of humor.
Jared was a devoted supporter of his favorite sports teams—the Philadelphia Eagles, the Utah Jazz, and the BYU Cougars, and he especially looked forward to the annual hunting trip with his brothers and nephews. Uncle “J” was extremely loved and admired by all of his nieces and nephews.
Jared’s children were his whole world. He found his greatest joy in spending time with them—camping, fishing, and watching them participate in and enjoy the things they loved. His love and devotion as a father were evident in the memories he created and the time he cherished with them.
Jared had a great love for animals, especially his dog, “Duke.” He enjoyed spending time hiking with him and being outdoors. He loved his family deeply and had a strong testimony of the gospel. Jared will be remembered for his faith, his kind heart, and the love he shared with those around him.
Jared is survived by his beloved children: Emmett, Bentzen, Paisley, and Jaylee; his parents: Brent David and Ann Pace Rogers; and his brothers, Brady (Shannon), Cory (Katie), Brook (Nicole), and Jordan (Shaye) Rogers. He is preceded in death by his brother: Jeremy Scott Rogers; and his grandparents: Elwin and Grayce Pace, Dwain and Dorothy “Dot” Finlinson, and Joy L. Rogers.
A viewing will held Saturday, May 30, from 9:30 to 10:40 am, at the Oak City LDS Church. A Memorial Service will follow at the Delta City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be left at www.nicklemortuary.com
