Debbie Sue Sorenson Talbot, age 66, of Leamington, Utah passed away on June 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Debbie was born on January 31, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona to Earl Glenn and Joan Christine Harris Sorenson. With her father being in the military, her family moved around a lot as she grew up. They later moved to Brigham City, Utah in 1967 after Glenn retired from military service. She met the love of her life, Arthur Jay Talbot, while attending Brigham City High School. Debbie and Arthur married on October 27, 1976 in Brigham City. They soon made their home in Delta, Utah where they raised their 4 children.
Debbie enjoyed all types of crafts: sewing, beads, crochet, cross-stitch, and quilting; but her true passion was shopping for craft supplies. She was an avid water Zumba participant, and a lover of all books. Her personal library contained literally thousands of books, and she read them all. She was very active in softball and traveled all over with Arthur “Pops” to attend games. From this she became known to everyone as “Mrs. Pops”.
Above all, Debbie loved her family. She enjoyed being involved in their activities and was a second mom to their friends. She also loved to laugh and tell jokes whenever the opportunity arrived.
Debbie is survived by husband: Arthur “Pops” Talbot; children: Jamie (Kyle) Wodynski, Jason (Sarah) Talbot, James (Sherry)Talbot, and Joni (Scott) Lee; siblings: Joseph, Michael and Amy (Justin); 13 grandchildren: Brock, Brooklynn, BerkLee, Caiden, Bryleigh, Hunter, Jonathan, Jacob, Shaine, Shawn, Abyl, Alex and Bohdi; great-granddaughter: Frankie. She is preceded in death by her parents and older brother: Kenny.
A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.nicklemortuary.com, where the future program will also be announced.
