Chalee Joyce Jenkins Grimshaw, age 39, passed away on August 7, 2026 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. She was born on October 31, 1986 in Delta, Utah to Kelly Dee and Debra Joyce Moody Jenkins. Chalee achieved many things. She was crowned 4-H Queen in 1997 on her horse, Duchess. She graduated from Delta High School in 2005.
She then attended Image Works Academy in Spanish Fork to study cosmetology, and earned her certification in 2006. Chalee loved her career. She did wonderful work in her field for 20 years often saying, “my clients are my best friends!”
Chalee married Nicholas “Nick” Rondo Grimshaw on August 2, 2008 in Delta, Utah. They had two beloved children together: daughter, Jaydree and a son, Jaxton.
Chalee was very self-sufficient. Along with her daughter, she could almost anything including the washer and dryer. Chalee was deeply caring and helpful to anyone who needed her. Her greatest joy was her kids, and she dedicated herself to them completely. Her refrain, “I live for my kids!” was often spoken. Chalee loved to go camping with her family and always wanted to be the ‘camp cook’. She could whip up incredible meals for everyone during these adventures. She was excellent at stocking her pantry. She grew a wonderful garden and bottled a lot of what she grew. She also loved boating at the Rez and at Lake Powell. She enjoyed late nights hanging out around the pool and playing card games with her son, Jax. Chalee was a wonderful person and we will all miss her deeply.
Chalee is survived by her husband: Nick Grimshaw and her kids: Jaydree and Jaxton; parents: Kelly and Deb Jenkins; brothers: Wacey (Kaela) Jenkins and Wyatt (Sisley) Jenkins; grandmother: Joyce Moody; and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who adored her.
