RyanLovell2.webRyan Heath Lovell, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home in Delta, Utah. He was born November 24, 1977 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Stanton Nielson and Cindy Rae Damron Lovell. Ryan had a powerful spirit to experience the adventures of life and a deep caring for his family, friends and neighbors.

He grew up in Delta, where he excelled at and enjoyed playing sports. He and his life-long friend Cory Carroll were always out looking for new adventures and fun. He graduated from Delta High School in 1996, where he played on the baseball, basketball and golf teams. He also had a love of music, enjoying playing his guitar; and movies. During his junior year, Ryan was involved in a vehicle rollover and was thrown out. He was fortunate to survive, and showed his strong will to recover. However, some of the injuries would effect him in the future.

He served an LDS Mission in the Toronto East-Canada Mission. He then attended UVSC in Orem, as well as spending his winters as a snowboard instructor at Snowbird Ski Resort. He then went on to earn his certification as a Helicopter Pilot in 2005. Soon after this accomplishment, however, the onset of vision problems prevented him pursuing his career.

Ryan returned to Delta, and pursued a golf certification. He has worked the last several years as the Assistant Golf Pro at Sunset Golf Course. In particular, he enjoyed assisting and training the members of the Delta High School Golf Team. He patience and true concern made him an excellent teacher. The last several years he took up bowling with his dad. He has participated in many tournaments enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of his teammates.

The most important thing was his family. He loved to spoil his nieces and nephews and fill gatherings with jokes and pranks. Ryan will always be remembered for his kind heart and genuine care, often going out of his way to assists others in need. His life had its share of bad luck, but Ryan never let it get him down for long. He always looked for the next opportunity to learn and do something new, and bring joy to the lives of others. His motto was "Do all the good you can, to all the people you can, as long as you can".

Ryan is survived by his parents: Stanton and Cindy Lovell; siblings: Tiffany (Dallas) Patten, Payson, UT; J.J. (Monica) Lovell, Delta; Niqole (Trevor) Riding, Delta, Utah; 7 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack & Betty Damron and Leoyd & Leila Lovell.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, at 11:00 am, at the Delta City Cemetery. A Viewing will be held at the Delta LDS Stake Center, 125 S. White Sage Ave., 9:30-10:40 am, before traveling to the cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.nicklemortuary.com
