Donna Mae Anderson Cox, 86, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 in Delta, Utah. She was born on October 5, 1929, in Hinckley, Utah to Aaron Elton and Sarah Leland Roberts Anderson. She spent her early years in Hinckley. She graduated from Delta High School, and then attended Dixie College on a scholarship where she met her sweetheart, Clark B. Cox from St. George. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the St. George LDS Temple on July 15, 1949.

They moved to California where Donna worked as a secretary to support Clark as he attended Dental School at USC. She also supported Clark while he fulfilled his military commitment at the Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas; then on to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. They then returned to Delta, Utah where she enjoyed her role as a wife, a homemaker and raising her 6 children. Nothing brought Donna more joy than each new grandchild who came into her family. Her family honors her for the love, devotion, and hard work she gave so freely.

Donna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings throughout her life. The one she enjoyed the most was her calling as the Delta 2nd Ward Blazer Leader. She loved teaching the boys and helping them learn and memorize the Articles of Faith. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Shamo and staff at the Millard County Care Center.

Donna is survived by her husband: Clark; children: David Cox, Cedar City; Craig (Carol Ann) Cox, Fruit Heights; Suzanne (Joseph) Morris, Delta; Gary (Jody) Cox, Spanish Fork; Dianne Cox Killpack, Lewes, Delaware; Cynthia Cox Moody, Pocatello, Idaho. She has 29 grandkids and 66 great-grandkids with 2 on the way. Sister: Sheila (Glen) Ogden, Herriman. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Garn and Sterling Anderson; sisters: Shirley Christensen and Geraldine Henrie; 2 baby brothers and a baby sister.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m., at the Delta LDS Stake Center Chapel, 125 White Sage Avenue. Viewings will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m., at the Delta Stake Center; and Monday, 9:30-10:40 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will be in the Delta City Cemetery.
