Kristine Wright Stanworth

Eleanor Kristine Wright Stanworth, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Oasis, Utah. Born on January 22, 1951, Kristine was the oldest of 12 children born and raised in Coalville, Utah to Eleanor Fae Brown and Joseph Lee Wright. Kris graduated from North Summit High School in 1969. While attending Utah State University, she met and later married Tony Lane Stanworth, in the Manti LDS Temple on her 20th birthday, January 22, 1971. After marriage Kris jumped right into family and farm life. She and Tony raised nine awesome kids and a herd of dairy cows. She, with help from Tony, managed and ran the family dairy most of her married life.

Kris is survived by her husband: Tony; and children: Christie (Larry) Tolbert, Travis (Bowbie) Stanworth, Ronda (Troy) Davis, JD (Jennie) Stanworth, Breann (Brendon) Nelson, Daniel (Natalie) Stanworth, Ian (Meagan) Stanworth, and Ryan (McKenzie) Stanworth. She was preceded in death by a son: Samuel Chad (age 1) in 1989; a grandson: Taylor Sam in 1997; her mother in 1976; and her brother: Danny Lee in 1978.

The family wishes to express a huge appreciation to IHC Hospice, Delta Community Medical Center Staff, Millard County Ambulance, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Staff, and Dr. Shamo, as well as all who have brought food and offered support in this time of need.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 AM, at the Deseret-Oasis LDS Chapel, 3423 W. 4500 S., Delta. Viewings will be held on Friday evening, 7-8 PM, at the Deseret-Oasis LDS Church; and Saturday, 9:30-10:40 AM, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Oasis Cemetery.
