Shad Hall

Shad Hall, age 44, unexpectedly passed away after suffering a heart attack on Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Leamington, Utah. He was born on February 2, 1971 in Lehi, Utah to Melvin and Roma Jean Smith Hall.

Shad grew up in Lehi in a large family with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. After completing school, he earned his certification as an automotive emissions specialist, and spent many years working in that trade in the  Lehi area.

Shad met Kendra Bryant while in high school. They raised two children, Kambrey and Preston. They married, but later divorced.

In 2008, Shad met Mary Lynn Whittle. They were married on March 17, 2009, in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was St. Patrick’s Day, and in keeping with the celebration, they both dressed all in green for the wedding ceremony. Shad became a dad to Mary’s three children, Alysse, Rachel, and Joshua. Shad and Mary both had a desired to live out in the country, so they moved to Leamington, Utah, where Shad worked hard helping at many farms in the valley.

Shad always enjoyed working hard. He loved the outdoors, and was skilled in carpentry and mechanics, and enjoyed being able to provide service to his friends and neighbors. He will be remembered for his physical strength and determination. Yet he was a very quiet, kind and gentle man, and he treated his wife, Mary, like a queen. Shad enjoyed watching Nascar, and had a deep admiration for eagles.

He is survived by his wife: Mary; daughters: Kambrey (Brendon) Johnson, Alysse Ciencin, Rachel Ciencin; sons: Preston Hall, Joshua Ciencin; granddaughter: Taughteaona Johnson; sisters: Ivory Hall, Shana Young, Cindy Yeager, Teresa Miller, Presh Davis; brothers: Jubel Hall, Samual Hall, Edward Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents: Melvin and Roma; brothers: Randy, Shane, Sampson; and an infant daughter: Whitney.

A small service remembering Shad will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 10 AM, at the Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center St, Delta. Viewing will be held prior to the service, 9:30-10:00 AM.
