William Lee Talbot

William Lee Talbot, the oldest son of Lee Aisel and Velma Bunker Talbot was born April 11, 1935 in Abraham, Utah. He got his calling papers for Heaven on December 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, at age 79. Bill was blessed in being able to see all of the children and being able to tell them he loved them in the final hours before starting his journey.

Bill married his high school sweetheart, RoElla Robison, and they were blessed with 5 children: Randy (Tanya), Eva, Craig, Jerry (Bridgette) and David. Bill and RoElla later divorced.

He married Nancy Arlene Powell Anderson and became Warden Willie, raising 2 step-on children: “Lunk” Laurie (Todd) and “Boober” Justin (Jessica). He was blessed with 4 stepchildren who loved him just because he loved their mother: Flint, Jason, Wes (Kim), and Melanee (Don). Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bill loved is family, hunting, fishing being his own boss and Bob-dog, Jake and not always in that order.

He was sure his way was the only way and he was always right til December 21, 2014 and he had to admit God was in charge. He chose not to have a viewing. His saying was “If I looked good, I wouldn’t be dead”. He also wanted a mail slot in his headstone, so if he was owed money, he could still be paid. As sad as we are at his passing, we all knew the joy of his reunion with his son, David; brother, Dick; step-on son, Jeff; and Bob-dog outweigh our tears.

In respecting his wishes, there will be no viewing, no funeral and no lunch. However, friends are gratefully invited to gather on Saturday, December 27, at 3:00 pm, at the Sutherland Cemetery for a Graveside Service. Open to everyone and casual dress only.
