He was the son of the late, Joseph Edward “Ted” Stanworth and the late Margaret Alberta Peterson Stanworth. Darold was born in his home in Oasis, Utah on July 8, 1943. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. He taught many of his grandkids how to hunt. He also loved riding horses and joined the riding club for a period of time. Darold was a friend to everyone. Those who really knew him called him “Deard”. Darold was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers: Karl, Keith, Melvin; and a sister: Katherine; great-grandson: Jake Ekker.

He is survived by his daughters: Julie O’Neil, Delta; Lorie (Clemente) Vazquez, Delta; Wanda (Mahlon) Twitchell, Cedar City, Utah; and sisters: Marilynn (DeLoy - deceased) Stewart, Brigham City; Margaret (Alan) Sumsion, Spanish Fork; 19 grandkids, 48 great-grandkids and 2 great-great grandkids with 2 more on the way.
